The Food Store at Short Grain

Very soon we will be opening the Short Grain Food Store. Located within Short Grain in Marshall Street Fortitude Valley, the food store will stock house branded products such as Martin’s versatile curry sauces and ready-to-go meals as well as marinades and dressings that can turn the simplest salad into a zesty thing of joy!

Yellow soybean dressing is rich and unctuous and is delicious when drizzled over vegetables and red meats. Short Grain chilli jam is a pantry staple - pure and vibrant minus any of the nasty additives, this and our chilli jam with ginger are go-to dipping sauces for dumplings, spring or rice paper rolls or simply add a spoonful beside any Asian style stir fry or bowl of deliciousness.

We also stock a small, carefully curated range of products, some of which are made by friends of Martins from around Australia. These products are made with integrity and from the finest ingredients. Bone broth starters, Ronin kelp tamari, selected products from the beautiful Gewurzhaus spice range and some gut-friendly lines by legendary Melbourne-based fermentation guru, Sharon Flynn from the Fermentary in Fitzroy. You’ll also find fresh Asian greens, ginger, turmeric and everything you need to complete your feast at home including products from the Megachef range and other, hard-to-find Asian provisions.
